We’ve lived and flown in this region for decades but yet, somehow, we never see the same view twice. The coast mountains are constantly changing their appearance with the weather, seasons, and light. Take a look at this collection of amazing shots from over Squamish and the Sea To Sky Corridor, as shot by our guests. Enjoy!

British Columbia has the second largest parks system in Canada, after @parkscanada. According to env.gov.bc.ca almost 90% of British Columbians have used a provincial park at some time; and, about six in ten residents of British Columbia use a provincial park each year. Our region has some of the most spectacular national parks and provincial parks, ecological reserves, conservancies, and recreation and wilderness areas in the world. We pinch ourselves at how lucky we are to fly over this place, every single day 🙌 All this is just 45mins from #vancouver and 35mins from #whistler! 📷 taken on tour last spring over the Squamish backcountry. Another photo from yesterday’s #advebture with @seatoskyair #squamish. This time of the incredible Lake Lovely Water, and you can just about see the other plane on the left that was with us. Our pilot, Eric, knew the name of every mountain peak, valley bottom, and river bend. They love introducing people to the majesty that lays just a short flight away from downtown. The Squamish sightseeing tour is just $109 and I recommend everyone save their pennies to experience it. It’s worth every cent, and more! @thephotosociety | #tpsextreme #glacier #flying #lake #summer #mountains #blue #valley #wildernessculture #explorebc #explorecanada #photooftheday #landscapephotography #landscape_lovers #pacificnorthwest #bucketlist #likeabird #inadream #britishcolumbia #nofilter #huffpostgram #awesomeearth #ventureout #huffpostbc #ilovebc #vancityhype #vancitybuzz

Yesterday was incredible! 7000ft up in a tiny aircraft with @seatoskyair flying over the mountains I call home. It was a humbling perspective on an area I felt I knew, turns out I know nothing of its true beauty! I really believe that the more people we get out to see the world from this perspective, instead of a detached inner-city view of “the wilderness”, the better chance we have of increasing empathy for the dire state of our planet. @thephotosociety | #tpsextreme Thank you #seatoskyair #squamish ❤️ #canada #explorebc #explorecanada #explorebc #landscapephotography #nofilter #naturelovers #mountains #choosemountains #pnwhikers #ecotourism #travelgram #travelling #photooftheday #love #summer #blue #sky #wildernessculture #nofilter #huffpostgram #awesomeearth #ventureout #huffpostbc #mycanadaparksbc

While I was at the @seatoskygondola a little plane flew past while I was stood on the viewing deck. I waved, knowing they couldn’t see me but, hoping that it might be my friends at @seatoskyair taking more visitors on a #magical #birdseyeview tour of the coast #mountains. As I waved I had small moment of sadness. But not sadness about where I was, sadness that I left it so long since my last flight. There is an addictive energy, a natural high that comes from soaring through the #mountains in an old fashioned propeller #airplane. It’s nostalgic, romantic, and feels far more “traditionally” adventurous than a helicopter. I’ve almost become desensitized to helicopters. They’re in Hollywood movies, they take you skiing, they’re in commercials. They’re everywhere. But small planes are almost an acquired taste. A rare breed from a time when exploring and adventuring was much tougher than it is today. A time when flying in a small plane over these #mountains would have meant you were going prospecting or gold mining. Not heli skiing. It’s raw, unchanged, and #wild. And I think that’s why I love it. Long live small planes! —————————————————- 📷 on tour with @seatoskyair —————————————————#explorecanada #britishcolumbia #bucketlist #canada #landscape_captures #skyhigh #mountaintops #seatosky #highpeaks #snow #flying #airplane_lovers #adventuremobile #adventureland #exploresquamish #explorebc #optoutside #pnwonderland #thatpnwlife

A few days ago I had an amazing experience with @seatoskyair as we flew around the #Whistler and #Squamish area on their Photo Epic tour. I chose to concentrate on Sky Pilot mountain in Squamish at the end of the flight when the light was going to be best, and it paid off BIG TIME. I’m becoming obsessed with Sky Pilot and The Copilot, they just keep delivering incredible photos every time I see them from a new angle. #exploreBC #canadiancreatives #teamcanon @canoncanada #exploresquamish @helloBC —————————————————————— #awesomeearth #ourdailyplanet #earthfocus #oneawesomeplanet #oneawesomeplanet #theglobewanderer #worldshotz #can_promo #fantastic_earth #wildernessculture #exploringtheglobe #bestintravel #natureskingdom #dream_image #special_shots #TeamTravelers #OurPlanetDaily #wonderful_places #ultimatecaptures #wonderful_earthpix #travelstoke #ilovebc
