We’re thrilled to welcome a new flight experience to our guided scenic flights. For those of you who have always wanted to learn to fly, you can now take on that experience with the combination of land, air, and sea! We’ve combined two of our most popular flight experiences, our Introduction to Flight Experience and guided scenic flights by seaplane, into one.
As you may know, our Introduction to Flight Experience, Guided Scenic Flight is an incredible way to learn the ABCs of flying. In this experience, you have the opportunity to carve your own path in the co-pilot’s seat. Under the watchful eye of our commercial pilots, you’ll learn the foundations of aviation and practice essential manoeuvres of flight. This experience is one of our most popular flights and makes for an incredible gift. The Introduction to Flight runs year-round, and is the perfect way to tick ‘flying a plane’ off your bucket list!
When booking your Introduction to Flight Experience, you now have the option to amplify the experience with a 90-minute, amphibious seaplane option! In this experience, you will have the opportunity to learn the fundamentals of flight, including the unique differences between taking off and landing on water. On your flight, you will make a landing and a take off from the water, as well as spend time steering the seaplane on the water. Floating atop the pristine waters of British Columbia adds an incredible perspective to the diversity and magnitude of the beautiful Coast Mountains and sea.
Our Introduction to Flight Experience is one of our most popular gifts, and a great way to experience flight together. We offer a ‘Share The Experience’ option that allows you to bring along friends to fill the seats at a reduced rate of $80 each. This is perfect if you’re buying the Introduction To Flight Experience as a gift for a birthday or special occasion. You get to come along, too. It’s a win-win.
Watch both of our flight videos to get a taste of the Introduction to Flight, as well as what it will feel like to land on the water in our Howe Sound by Seaplane Guided Scenic Flight.
